Offerings for a Wounded Tree
Sallie has been climbing the dogwood tree in our side yard. And, I have to admit that I have been torn between wanting her to have a climbing tree (I had a great one when I was her age) and worrying that the dogwood was too small for her (or rather, that she had become too big for the dogwood tree). Recently, she climbed up, swung down on the branch, and broke it.
