Sallie's class participated in FETCH a Cure's program called 'Toys for Furry Tots'. This involved area schools and community centers 'decorating' cardboard doghouses and learning about senior dogs and ones with cancer. Also, their mission is to fill the house with new or used non-perishable pet items. For example, dog/cat toys, blankets, brushes, collars etc., to be distributed to local shelters for these pets to have a happy holiday too.
The second part of this is for people to go online and vote for your favorite doghouse! The class with the most votes will win a pizza party, popcorn party or ice cream social. Registration only takes a second, so please cast your vote and help support Sallie's class!
