Fun with Grandmommy Sallie

Trent and I had a wonderful visit with my grandmother in El Paso, TX recently. One of the highlights was taking her out in her wheelchair (so as not to exhaust her too much!) and walking around the corner to Fuddruckers for lunch. She couldn't get past the name (she kept saying it, and Trent kept saying "I know it sounds dirty, but there's nothing dirty in the name") but she enjoyed her bowl of clam chowder just the same.

We didn't realize that she didn't have her dark glasses until we were already outside, so Trent lent her his. We thought it was the perfect look for her!

We saw these beautiful flowering cacti all over the place, and grandmother commented on every single one of them. This one was lingering outside of Avila's, one of our favorite Mexican restaurants where we ate lunch on the last day of our visit.

It's important to color coordinate your outfits when visiting your grandmother! These photos were taken at my aunt and uncle's house, who were kind enough to let us stay in their guesthouse while we were in town. Thanks, Reed & Cathy!

We love you, Grandmommy Sallie!
